Purulia District, with a population of about Twenty Five Lakhs of people, has tried to put the information regarding its people, Geography, Climate, Culture, Govt. Offices etc. on its website.

In the era of information technology, it is expected that this information will be useful for the people belonging to the District and the people residing outside the District.
